Laminate Flooring On The Ceiling
To install a laminated plank ceiling follow these steps.

An accent wall or ceiling adds rich texture and one of a kind pizzazz to virtually any space. Determine the width of the first row of planks to make the first and last rows equal. The planks will run in the direction opposite your ceiling joists.
You may need to drill small holes to accompany finish nails then hammer finishing nails through the laminate flooring plank and into the wall to secure the first piece in place. Snap a chalk line. Vinyl tiles are available in a variety of visual finishes like ceramic slate and wood. Vinyl tiles are self adhesive in most cases so you won t have to hassle with glue.
Decide which direction the ceiling joists run and snap a chalk line perpendicular to the joists every 16 inches across. The good news though is that you can apply vinyl tiles completely on your own. Place your first laminate flooring plank in the upper right corner of the wall.
These flooring planks will place less strain on the ceiling joists and subfloor while being a fraction of the price of thicker engineered wood floors. Place the grooved edge up against the corner of the wall.
