False Floor Boot Build

The boot is redesigned and doesn t have the two cubby holes either side of the boot that the false floor rested on so the old type floor won t fit on the new yaris.

Ok the time came where i have ordered all my sound equipment for the zed and i thought to my self the boot floors in mg are appalling so i quick whipped up abit of half inch mdf and cut it out to shape and before you know it a solid boot floor how do people cope with such floors or is. I understand i ll need the boot floor both side panels and the fittings but i m unsure if the holes are behind the side trims to screw the plastic fittings into. The plan was i wanted to maintain as much boot space as possible for it too look as oem as possible carpet colour build quality etc.

I have a base level of stuff always in the boot first aid kit coat few tools ratchet straps bungee cords work files etc so all this is going under the false floor so i ve got a clear boot for other things like taking the dog out sons bike etc.
